The Peoples Projects has shortlisted Depden Care Farm’s project, MINDS TO MEND, for public vote with the very real possibility of it winning ***£50,000 in funding!***
But we will only win if enough people vote for us.
The Peoples Projects is funded by The National Lottery and gives you the chance to decide how National Lottery funding can make a difference in your local community.
About the project
Depden Care Farm supports adults with learning disabilities, acquired brain injuries and mental health problems to gain new skills and work experience in agriculture and horticulture. You can follow our latest news on our facebook page
The additional funding will enable us to support many more people through a new weekly programme for those recovering their mental health helping them get their life back on track and become more work ready. It will also help us build a new fully accessible workshop so that we can broaden the range of skills we are able to offer everyone, whatever their physical ability.
I don’t need to tell you that winning this amount of money will make a massive difference to our little charity and to the many people we would be able to help as a result.
This is where you come in…
Please vote for us from Monday 16th April until 12noon Monday the 30th April
and please, please ask as many of your friends and family to vote for us too.
